6 are injured in the jail
6 personnel, inmate injured in "important" Florida jail disturbance
Six workforce individuals and one inmate were injured in the course of a "principal disturbance" at a Florida prison.
The Florida Department of Corrections said in a news launch that the Wednesday morning disturbance concerned numerous inmates in a couple of dorms at Gulf Correctional Institution Annex.
The launch says the jail is on lockdown, but the scenario is underneath control and none of the injuries is considered life-threatening.
Inmates who had been worried are being located in confinement pending a disciplinary assessment.
Gulf Correctional Institution Annex is a guys's prison in the Florida Panhandle metropolis of Wewahitchka, outside Panama City. It has a most potential of approximately 1,four hundred inmates.
