Why does Apple want to hire Siri her own personal assistant

Apple is trying to lease someone to help its Siri assistant stay up to date on all the non-conventional holidays, trending cultural happenings, and occasions that humans may ask approximately.

The human assistant, to be named because the "Siri Event Maven," will work with the engineers and designers running on Siri "to provide strategic recognition of cultural happenings inside the collective zeitgeist," Apple became quoted as pronouncing to 9to5mac.Com, on Tuesday.

"We're seeking out someone to help us maintain Siri up to date on all the diverse activities taking
place round the world," in step with the task description published by way of Apple.

The human assistant could be a part of the Siri team to "scour" social media for traits and happenings that Apple's voice assistant would not know approximately.

The position will even work with its analytics group to "apprehend modern-day behaviour" and "perceive events we might also have missed," Apple referred to.

Although Apple's Siri popularised voice assistants when it turned into first launched at the iPhone in 2011, it has since lagged behind competition like Google Assitant, and continues to face opposition from new opponents like Amazon's Alexa and Samsung's Bixby Voice software.
