Tsunami waves reaching 30 cm to 1m had been forecast for some coasts of Peru.
The U.S. Geological Survey is reporting an earthquake with a initial value of 7.3 off Peru. There had been no immediate reports of casualties or harm.
The USGS says that the temblor struck forty two km south-southwest of Acari at 9.18 GMT (2.48 p.M. IST) on January 14 at a depth of 12.1 km. It wasn’t right now clean if a tsunami caution has been issued.
